Are you replacing it with a larger PowerBook... or iBook? Just remember, the larger iBooks won't give you more real estate... it's just a larger screen.. the max res is still 1024x768. Although... I can certainly see wanting a larger screen... even without higher resolution... it can be a bitc* to read some smaller fonts. Plus ya get the added benefit of the faster G4 in all the new iBooks/Powerbooks.

    I'm going from a 12" iBook 600 w/ combo drive and 384mb ram, to a 15.2" Powerbook 1.25 w/ superdrive and 1gb ram.

Welcome to the community man! A little over 2 years ago I got my first Mac. (In November). Used OS9 on it for a month but barely used the machine. Then on December 25th, Christmas, got OSX and within a month I had moved from my 733mhz Pentium 3 machine to this 450 mhz G3 iMac. Took about a month to get completely used to the system. Like others have mentioned, I started out trying to make things more complicated than they were. But not it is very comfortable to use. Love it and would never ever go back!
