I haven't read any of his books. I haven't read any of his pamphlets. I haven't read any transcripts of his interviews. I haven't even read one article of his to completion. But here are some opinions of thoughtful people who have.

Nothing like doing thorough research in order to formulate a strong, informed and balanced opinion.

You don't happen to work for Newscorp by any chance?

I haven't read mein kamp either. But you what? I think I have a pretty good grasp on author of that book, and his admirers.

That is one person's review page, not 'some opinions of thoughtful people.'

I know what you meant. I was merely pointing out that it was stupid. Last time I looked there were shockingly few biopics on the history channel about Chomsky's rise to power and the subsequent world war...so the only way to know anything about him is to read him.

Could you be any more polite? And I used the plural so as to indicate what other people had to say. It's unfortunate life has conditioned you to be such an @ss.

I think you missed my point completely. It's not Hitler or Chompsky that are of concern to me. It's their followers.

Hitler had: the SS, the Einsatzgrüppen, the Lutwaffe, the infantry, the Bush family, the German people ... oh, and Japan. And Italy.

"Chompsky" as you call him has: erm ... well, you tell me.

I'd forgotten what good fun this was.

You're making less and less sense. Who are these followers of Chomsky? Why do they cause you concern? Are they armed? If Chomsky Himself is of no concern to you, why start a thread about him?

He's not. Him being published in an internationally circulated publication is. You see, I don't care about that specific publication per say. It's not of interest to me. Neither are the leftist ravings of some individual. But the fact(?) that it's widely circulated is of concern. Because it tells that there's a wide audience receptive to that leftist garbage. And it's real trouble when these leftist sycophants get organized behind those ideas. See Mein Kemp, Das Capital.

Mein Kemp (that's a good one) is generally considered to be a bunch of right-wing lunacy.

As was, oh I don't know, Blueshift; but he also had an incredibly small penis and a book can't have that.

Ah: I see where you're coming from. I can clear this up.

There is a 'receptive audience' because dissent is still tolerated in most places where the government doesn't print the newspapers; many people see the world differently to you, politically speaking, and (this pains me much it must pain you) they are probably entitled to write and say their piece.

    Achtung.

    I mean, 'atchoo'. (I have a cold.)

    Kill all socialists.

I mean 'Let's build a big wall around Noam Chomsky so he can't go to his dentist.'

No, that's not what I mean at all.

    You know what I mean.

    JewelsVernz,

first you posted a link to a questionable article.

Then it was pointed out to you point by point that the article is, in fact, questionable.

After that you suddenly go "oh, the article doesn't actually matter, and Chomsky does not matter either, but the people who listen to Chomsky are dangerous".

But you haven't read Chomsky, so you haven't the faintest idea what Chomsky stands for.

Sorry, but this is thundering idiocy. I don't even think of Chomsky as being far to the left politically. He's more of an anarchist, and actually does not oppose things like free markets, only the bad leadership that comes when you let the market influence the government instead of democratic process. I am very much in favor of capitalism, yet I find most of Chomsky's commentary convincing.

You seem to have a real fascination with this fellow's penis size. Are you gay or something? Not that there's anything wrong with that.

And please explain to me what's right wing about (National) Socialism?
