Chef's attitude was based on the intentionally outrageous inference that the whole dance gang thing and all it's slang is something that any and all black people intuitively know and understand, something innate to the community, and, conversely, this is why the boys went to him for guidance - since they are "painfully" white and clueless on the subject. (Odd that the parents did understand though, although it was funny to see them react to seriously)
Being served is (laughably) a very serious thing as far as idiotic dance gang pride is concerned. So he had a hard time explaining to the boys the seriousness of it.
"Served" is black for "owned" which is white for the 1337 "pwnd"
South Park has become the SNL for GenX/Y... it presents serious topics with a good dose of comedy... even when I come across a message I do not necessarily agree with. It's an amazing parody of our culture.
Sometimes it's great just to realize how "unhip," "white boy," and "Goyim" I really am. (Also, add jaded and cynical to that list.. ) SP helps with that minor shock treatment every week.
Kickass! My cable company finally updated my building's connection to fiberoptic and I can finally get Comedy Central and thus South Park again. (I haven't watched it since Season 1 and the Spirit of X-mas.) Yahoo!

You haven't seen it since Season 1?!? Wow, I don't know if I could go that long without a South Park fix.

Unfortunately, I didn't have the choice. \ Glad to have it back though. I'll just have to get the other seasons on DVD one of these days and take a South Park marathon vacation.
Tonight's episode was awesom-o!! haha, the best of the season. i recorded it, so i'm going to go watch it again! Catch it at midnight tonight if you missed it (or regular time for you west coasters)

It was the best so far this season. I loved the musical parts!
Between the reruns of Family guy on Cartoon Network and the new season of South Park, there is definite stuff on TV these days aside from the Stanley cup playoffs.
I completely lost it on the Ninja episode. Perhaps better than the Jagerman Smoreschnapps episode.
It was an average episode with some great highlights, I think. Some of the stuff with those Hollywood execs and the military was a little over the top, but at least it ended on a high note (which I won't spoil).
Seems like they're really letting Butters have it this season: his unfortunate ninja adventure, the emotional trauma of last week's episode, now this!

I disagree, the hollywood execs and military thing was in true south park style. Think Okama Game Sphere and similar episodes.
Cartman and Butters are my favorite characters on the show, I'm happy they gave them their own episode.
Production for the Lemmiwinks episode has been pushed back, there is no sure news on when or if it will air this run. We'll keep you posted.
The screen said something about the recent tragic events in Hawaii the Lemmiwinks episode won't be shown. My bet is that it was an easter episode that they couldn't get out in time.
As for the episode, I thought it was great. It was a nice break from the "I learned something" episodes that have dominated this season.

You're right on that. It's huge on college campuses and is taking the place that the Simpsons held culturally.
Excellent and insightful point. I would love to see Mike Judge and Parker/Stone do some hardcore satire together.

Yeah and what did it say at the beginning about "due to the recent events in hawaii..."? I blinked.
