    Way Beyond the Rumor Sites?!!

You know what? Screw all of this speculating garbage. I'm sending this note to Apple's Web Site team: You Guys Rock!

You may not even know what's coming, but you're making a group of a few hundred Mac dudes more excited than Ringo Star in 1964.

What if what came out really is beyond what the rumor sites have been predicted. This means, therefore, everything we are predicting will come out, and then some.

This won't happen. It just won't. So why is Apple playing with us?

Doesn't "Blown Away" connote or imply speed?

While I still don't think the G5 will appear @ MWSF, I really am beginning to believe there will be a very significant increase in speed. I just hope that Apple doesn't leave the low end tower without any of the new improvements, ala the lack of 1 Mb backside cache in the 733 MHz tower.

It would REALLY suck if the low end tower stayed @ 133 MHz and the faster models used DDRsdram. Seems, at least recently, the low end towers were used to get rid of the old motherboards etc.

That point about increased speed is interesting. Apple may be in the process of undergoing some sort of MHz renaissance. First in, in January, all the desktops jump to above a GHz. Then in March, the portables follow.
