Now, here's the hard question (that you may not want to answer at this time):
What's the killer app for this idea?
We've got a few ideas on that, actually. If it gets working in time, I'm going to try and use it for my defense. FaceTop + Cocoa Gestures = Minority Report UI on a big freaking screen. Probably not, but we'll see.

And when you're interviewed for WIRED can you drop in a "Confirmed" somewhere in there? A little shout-out to you AI buddies? [/B]
Very similar to a project I worked on. I?ll have to see if you are possibly infringing on my patents. I can?t say much about this. It?s top secret. Let?s just say it has something to do with porn and a red condom.

Dude, you knew, didn't you?
Just got done with the interview. For real. Was brought up last night, scheduled this morning, done this afternoon. Tried to slip a 'confirmed' in there once or twice, don't know if it'll make it to the article.
Not Wired Magazine (paper), but Wired News (.com)... but still.

The system is implemented in Mac OS X and is made possible largely by the system's Quartz rendering engine, which can make any part of the interface transparent. Thanks to Quartz, a quick prototype was whipped up in about 45 minutes, Smith said.
That line alone from the article sounds like this would be prime material for Apple's Sci/Tech Profiles section...
