Game barely chugs along at medium quality. I have a 20" Cinema display (ADC version) and I run the game at 800x500 widescreen resolution. When a few baddies hit the screen at once and there's fireballs flying the fps can drop to an abysmal 2-3 fps.
The game is somewhat unstable. Its annoying as hell and I hate restarting my computer because Doom 3 takes over.
The light effects are fantastic and the pro-corp movies are fab.
Have you guys tried Option+Tabbing out of the game and then back in? I have the mouse overlay issue on Q2, and the Option+Tab trick makes that problem go away.

Yeah, it worked for me that way in Halo and (in a window) UT2k4. Not sure how tabbing works in D3 though.
Anyone know if this game will run at all on a system with 32 vram? Friend has a brand new iBook, and was hoping he could play it at the minimum settings.

Nope. Doom 3 requires a much higher system than an iBook with 32 vram to run.
I have to play it on my iMac G5 1.8 on minimum settings (which still looks impressive) to get an acceptable frame rate...
