Mice are the best application but printers would be cool too since I imagine there's a way to share a printer among many Bluetooth computers. Does anyone know if M$ will ever officially support their BT mouse for Mac? Because without their support we can't program the extra buttons on the mouse. If anyone knows how to tell me. For example my scroll wheel on my Logitech is clickable but does nothing since I didn't install their POS drivers.

It's worth noting that I bought the MS BT mouse for use with 10.2.5 on my PB800dvi. Although it works I find that it has a small, but annoying, delay; you can't program the side-buttons and after about 5 mins the mouse loses its connection. This is using the Apple/DLink BT adapter, I tried plugging in the enormous MS BT adapter but it didn't seem to work correctly for me.

If anyone has got theirs working all the time I'd appreciate any help you could offer.

    Thanks.

I just started using the HUGE MS BT adapter, had to re-pair everything, but basically the mouse works - so it looks like it's a "MS BT mouse"/"Apple DLink adapter"/10.2.5 issue.

So it doesn't have a delay with the PBG4 12" since it doesn't have the DLink adapter? Delay would be unacceptable. So would disconnecting. And why can't OS X repogram extra mouse buttons? I heard Darwin had support for 32 or something.

Aquatic, as ever, it's an MS driver issue that's stopping the extra buttons working - don't worry, they'll fix it soon enough.

By the time they come out with a better BT mouse that needs new drivers...Has anyone gotten through to Micro$oft about this? I'd much rather give Logitech my money but it looks like they are behind the curve this time. Logitech is high quality though so I think I'll wait for them to make a BT mouse actually.

Kinda weird is that on ebay there are like 3 bluetooth mice for sale... odd considering there are hundreds of bluetooth adapters... why no online selling of keyboards and mice? (less then a dozen total...)

ya bluetooth mice is one of the coolest things ever. People are just slow to adapt, like TIVO. I promise in 5 years more people will have a tivo like device than dont. yet they are out now, again, just slow to adapt.

I just want to get rid of my annoying RF reciever. That's all I ask! A rechargeable mouse or one that recharges using the kinetic energy of moving around would be cool though!
