I don't seem to get anyting with Tiger either. I do no tknow about iTunes because i manually upgraded when i tcame out and wan;t passed through SU.

A little bit is okay but if this isn;t fixed soon then i won't be happy. Hopefully 10.4.1 will fix this ( will have to install that manually)

I bet they bundle the DVD Player update into 10.4.1. They pushed iTunes 4.8 out via SU to support the new iTunes stores and fix some security holes (i.e. probably thwart the latest DRM workaround). iTunes is high visibility, so they want everyone to have the latest and greatest version ASAP.

Same here, no itunes 4.8 or dvd player update.

I updated my iMac manually but I am going to wait it out on my iBook and see how long it takes.

10.4.1 showed up on both instantly.

I didn't get the intermediate codec update until after I reinstalled iLife after installing Tiger.

Ok, to be more specific, I just copied my old codecs from:

    .../Prev System 1/Library/Quicktime/

    to

    /Library/Quicktime/

And once I copied the old 1.0 intermediate codec, the update popped up in a jiffy.
