The official word from Andrew is that Escape Velocity Nova will be released on Monday!
Check Ambrosia's web site for mirrors or just get it off your iDisk in Apple's software folders. The download will be about 80 MB. Full registration will cost US$30, which is sorely underpriced for a quality product like this.

I'm tempted to believe that Apple has the most band width, but idisk always seems very slow. Perhaps this will be a good opportunity to try the new version of speed download.
Well, I'd probably say that iDisk would be the fastest. Ambrosia has supposedly leased out some more bandwidth for their servers to try to cope with the onslaught of mass downloads.
I've already bought my copy. :cool: EV Nova uses the new "expiring" registration system but also has a lock so you can't modify the game data files or use plugin unless the app is registered.
I also don't like the current icon for Nova; it's too, well, square. I've already made a replacement if anyone is interested.
If you could make the ship super imposed on NOVA that would be cool.. too much text in you r version imo. I also dont know what the original looks like. O rmaybe JUST the ship... boh

I was up 'til 7 AM playing this thing. Mmmm mmm... It comes ith a *great* tutorial for beginners. I'm still waiting on my registration number though.

Yeah, I'm probably gonna take of the "ESCAPE VELOCITY" text and have it just say "NOVA".
