    I haven't heard that the licensing issues were worked out. I guess they have to the point Apple feels it can release the software.



    I guess we can look forward to AAC in iPods. :cool:

    I have to purchase another liscense for QT6-Pro...?



    FCP3 and DVD-StudioPro came with "Pro" liscenses... yet I now have to upgrade...? Grrr...

    maybe they think that there will be so many downloads of something else coming out that they wanted to get some of these downloaded first...maybe something that needs QT6 and they knew they would be flooded with downloads...g

    No there is no reason not to download it. I'd guess your stream of macworld will be a better experience with it than without it.

    That's probably a sop to the movie industry, which shrieks every time something comes out that looks like it might theoretically be capable of thwarting the protections built into a DVD.
