The difference in price on a Superdrive is like...3 dollars.
Yeah, I'm looking at $3 to add this to a Mac mini. Not everyone BTO's yeah know, some people just walk into an Apple Store and buy a computer. Like me.
I'm sure by massive volume that Apple has that $119 drive becomes $3, but at this point yeah everything should be DVD burning at least. I have more then a few computers. Imagine my reaction when I learn that?after trying to burn a DVD for 10 minutes?that my model Mac mini didn't come with a DVD burner. Haha. My expression was priceless.
But its not like I can't add one later, I just had no idea it would cost over a hundred. Oh well. What must be done.

I wouldn't be able to add one to the macbook I'd have to carry a bulky external drive everywhere.

Yeah, and that sucks. But hell, I'm sure when I'm installing all this new stuff I can just snap something off haha. That would make my day. I've heard the CPU clips break after 3 installs, which seems weird but I'm not going to question it by installing 4 processors one after the other into the Mac mini.
When you have one drive, and its fused into the computer it should be a DVD burner. Mac mini has an excuse because its dirt cheap ($600, for a Mac, that counts) but otherwise. Yeah, should be standard. After all I heard they were only like $3. 8)
