The Incredibles is in HD format so there would be some movies in HD format to download, nice me thinks
If he hasn't mentioned HD, as so far he hadn't, as of the last update, and it doesn't seem likely, as the event seems to be closing down, then it won't be available in HD.

But, so far, he has said "video". Will he say the word "movie"?
Ok, "all video at 640x480. not fab, but good.
No, encoding a movie at 4:3 resolution is just ick. This is seriously disappointing.
Sigh. the same rez, and no burning to disk—the same as the vids.
At least, this time he is calling it "near DVD quality", instead of saying that it is better, as he first did with the AAC encoded music and CD's.
Not sure how this will work out with Tv's.

I hadn't gotten to the movies as yet. I was referring to just the video, which is 4:3.
My next post shows my feeling about that.
Not bad! Finally HDMI!!!

No FireWire on iTV.
I'm not clear as what this is EXACTLY. If it's a mega Express, then it can't use Firewire for anything.

What happened to "the year of HD"? Was that last year and now we're reverting back to standard def for everything?
I'm disappointed. Why exactly would I pay 10 bucks for a lesser quality product that is stuck on my computer?
The "iTV" looks promising, but not unless they can figure out how to give us HD content.
