itune keeps crashing and doing my head in. Every time I try to browse the US store it crashes. Then it can also slow up my machine. I never had any problems with my last version.
I want to get a mac to replace this piece of poop i'm on at the moment but I am disappointed with itunes 7. Cover flow doesn't work even though I've done all that's asked. Will this be apple telling me to get a mac because the pc I use is rubbish!!! I do want to get a mac so perhaps it's that push I need or maybe not!
Odds are your PC is just fine: the problem is inept, semi-retarded Windows engeneering on behalf of the iTunes/Quicktime people...
A pc that is 4x the speed of my Mac Mini with 2x the ram can't do cover art, and it can barely play back the damn videos (even though they worked fine in 6.x) Real, Flash, WMP, and the lot all work flawlessly...QT7 on Windows is a DOG... it has been nothing but trouble everywhere it rears its ugly head from a semi--pro video workflow I used to mantain to the guts of iTunes 7, to bugs that make Firefox crash...QT7 and subsequently iTunes 7 on Windows is a fucking desaster.
