Wow, I would hate to be in Microsoft's PR department. This kind of press basically insures Zune's failure.

Oh, I loved the last lines:

"Here, I am going to show you my new Shuffle."

"Right, so see, now THAT'S the, that's the thing that is a lot sexier than this."

"Why don't they get some decent design people that make things look better? I mean, it's clunk, it's clunky!"

    "Ahhh... uh... no comment!"

they or he tried his hardest to be "news neutral" but it's such a glaring yuch tech that it spilled out. interesting during an info segment on "zoon" they we all wowed by the ipod. boy do the ipods look good, they didn't get into the download experience. gee all those purchased MS songs don't work. geeeee backward incompatible.....great planning. MS is sooooo arrogant. i would not only like to see the purchases but the returns. instead of listing this as an ipod killer they should list it as a side splitter killer. maybe the zoon splash will be someone laughing. i'm not even sure why did MS put out this junk to only convince people NOT to take it seriously. i bet MS didn't get any volume discounts on components since it won't sell. hmmmmmm i bet all retailers that sell it are contracted NOT to give out return %

I feel sorry for anyone that buys a Zune...

    That video is great.

Off topic: I downloaded Zune marketplace just to see how it operates, im not usually one to say this but, iTunes FTW.

Theres no podcasts, audiobooks, tv shows, or movies. Which makes no sense for tv and movies because M$ is going to start selling them on Xbox Marketplace. I do not like the points system for purchasing music, I liked it for xbox live but for some reason for Zune, not so much.

But to be fair their are some cool features on the zune, like the big screen, and the (even though poorly utilized) WiFi feature. Those things are cool but in the long run not that big of a deal.

Even though I havent tried the actual Zune yet i think its safe to say...

...iPod and iTunes > Zune and Zune Marketplace.
