Grad school would be the best time of your life if only you knew for certain ahead of time that your experiments would work, your papers would be accepted, your committee would approve your thesis, and you would graduate. Try to appreciate it, anyway.

I would just like to give a quick update, if anyone cares.

I have decided to attend Princeton University to pursue a PhD in Physics. I chose Princeton because they have a very flexible graduate program and the professors were really encouraging and enthusiastic when I went to visit. They already offered me a job in Italy for the summer.

I will start doing work on WARP as soon as I am done with my work at Duke and I am enthusiastic about it.

    I am really excited.

    masters

    Towel

That's Dr. Towel, Ph.D., bub, and the diploma to prove it came in the mail last month.

Speaking of which, is anyone else disturbed that Slackenerny's actually graduating? It feels so sudden and rushed.

Congratulations on Princeton Physics. I get the impression that this could be one of the most stimulating grad school experiences out there.

Hey ShawnJ....good to read your and others' law school posts...I'm interested in law school and I'll PM you sometime later or you can PM me any anecdotes and advice, but I'm not attending this Fall. I'm working in environmental consulting for a while, at least another year. Just to see lots of things. Good thread though. I'm considering doing an MS in something environmental or public administration-related while doing or perhaps before/after a JD though. After reading some of these comments about law school though...sounds like a dual-degree program would kill me! I'll be on hiatus here for the first year it sounds like! I'll definitely have to cold-turkey AI and Mac sites among other hobbies!

After reading this thread: http://forums.appleinsider.com/showthread.php?t=67453, I would pick any school in Sweden.

The Sweden thread has got to be one of the most popular threads.

It's neck and neck wit Blu-Ray vs HD DVD...

Did you go apartment hunting yet, Guybush?

Or are you staying at your current digs/ home with parents since McGeorge is in Sacramento?

I have a condo here near Sac State that I've lived in since I graduated high school.

If I had an apartment near McGeorge, my car would be stolen, my place would get robbed, and my rent would be paid for by the government.

McGeorge is near Martin Luther King Blvd. And we all know how every MLK boulevard is...

Oh well there are definitely some things you should read this summer to get a little ahead of the curve.

I'm kinda in this thing all by myself. None of my friends are going to law school nor do I know anyone whose currently attending one.
