Well, I connected my ti to my cable modem directly and switched to active mode and it works. More porn than you can shake a stick at (bad pun). Not too bad. Found some stuff I've been looking for for a while (no, not porn. all that is the same, nothing in particular to *look* for there.) Now, why can't I get it to work through airport, I wonder....
I can't find any good porn though. And the app is pretty bad at downloading pics- you can and all but I like to preview the picture before saving it on my hard drive.
Anyway this is the greatest app in the world for downloading albums!
Grrrr.. Now for some reason my DC wont even OPEN!! WTF!! The last thing I did was set the rest of my shared folders and then i wanted to switch hubs. Surprisingly the hub list came up empty. I then quit and tried to reopen it but THEN IT WOULDNT OPEN ANYMORE!! Could any be so kind and send me your copy of DC thats hopefully still WORKING?
DC died on me twice last night for no reason. I was only d/l one thing. Wish it was more stable. Other than that it rocks for content.

Trail can you still open it up at least? I cant.... Ive even deleted my prefs and that doesnt help.....

Heh well I fixed my DC. I just killed the prefs and App Support files. Now its working better than ever. I think may have overwhelmed it by accidentaly sharing my entire hard drive lol
Hopefully the OSX client will get better and more stable. I'm sure it would help the cause if you guys were to download it and send feedback (bug reports) to Neo Modus.
The JavaDC project died because of lack of interest I'd imagine.
And we definitely need to get an AI hub going. If someone who has good bandwidth (I think it's a constant 30+kb/sec requirement) and windows/linux knowledge would drop me an e-mail maybe we can get something together.
Crap you guys are lucky, U. Rhode Island blocks (well caps to below a k/sec) Direct Connect, eDonkey, everything! Except Soulseeker. They haven't heard of Carracho yet That's why I have Carrasho Server going... Damnit Carrasho needs some work!

I think i need to get back on the Hotline/carracho bandwagon....

We need a private AI hub.
DC rules.

this is a very good idea...
What we need to get it going:
- 1 person with a good connection that can do lots of traffic, skills and good hardware to run the actual hub.
- A password system to keep it private and keep the baddies out.
- Users with good connections to make it all worthwhile.
I don't know anything really about running the hub, I'm only a regular user on 2 different hubs.
They are screwin our bandwidth & every other p2p is amazingly slow. Putting a firewall on us too. Not cool.

I just love Carracho. Find everything you want in a short time and all for the mac. ha!
