I am confused. Which one you do have? The MX900 or the MX700? The latter is certainly not Bluetooth. Otherwise, they are almost identical and you can easily mistake the one for the other.
MX700, and my point was that they should make it bluetooth because it is not already. I want a mouse with the same design with bluetooth. Get it yet?
I still don't understand. They made it bluetooth. It is the MX900. Or do you mean something else?
OK, I finally understood what your line of thought is. I meant that they should add bluetooth to the MX700 and still call it an MX700, while you meant that they did this but called it an MX900, right?
Edit: I want a mouse that is ergonomic (like the MX700/900) and is bluetooth, and does not need a docking station or receptor such as a mini USB thingy (should automatically be able to work with my MBP if possible). I do not exactly know where to look or how everything works, but if possible, it would have a rechargeable battery. Anyone know of anything similar to what I am attempting to describe? Links please.
Heh, funny. I don't have anything against Apple Mice, but I don't use any of them, either. My current home desktop came out before the Mighty Mouse, and I needed 3 buttons, so I got a MacAlly icemouse. At work, I'm on a KVM, and use a crappy ass Dell mouse/keyboard.
I currently use the Logitech S530 Mac Laser keyboard and mouse. It's so much better than the standard Apple kit. I'm looking forward to what Logitech has in store for us Mac users in the near future.
It's too bad that they don't have a Bluetooth version of this. This seems strange as it is specifically for Macs, and only the base iMac and Mac Pro seem to lack Bluetooth. Perhaps Logitech will rectify this in the next revision.
Edit: I guess that I should add, that I use the Benq M310. It will occasionally fail to track properly on surfaces that have woodgrain patterns, but it's tiny and wireless.
I don't like the mighty mouse -- although it looks nice.
I use the Logitech V450 with my PowerBook, and it is easily the best mouse I've ever used. The slim little USB receiver is so compact (and stores within the mouse when unused) that I often take it with me when I move over to use another machine.
I see lots of comments about Apple mice but I'd like to see this as a chart.
So what do you think of your Apple mouse.
Personally I quite liked the ADB, I loved the ADBII, the puck was awful and since then I've learnt to use multiple buttons and scroll wheels so have never used the Apple Pro Mouse I have except as a temporary spare.
What would you like to see improve in future mice/input devices?
i don't own an apple mouse let a lone an apple computer, but from using them at school, i can tell that they're decent mice (mighty mouse with wire). They seem to click on both sides very well. The only thing i don't like is the ball in the middle. It's way to small and it feels awkwards on your index finger when you use it to scroll.
Sorry, I was trying to drive discussion about future input devices by considering our gripes with the current line up.
I'd like to see a couple of mice with more obvious buttons (guess what obvious makes it simple). I've lost count how many people on Apple Discussions don't know that they can right click or squeeze on a "Mighty Mouse" (and the name is laughable).
There is one very fascinating aspect about this thread - it goes to support the thesis that posts in forums like this are driven, for the most part, by those that have a gripe or problem. Look at the top poll, close to 50/50 good mouse/bad mouse (ignoring the undecided). Look at the posts, maybe 85/15 bad mouse/good mouse.

I voted Other.
I'm a large, middle-aged man, and have a touch of arthritis.
I tried to use the Apple keyboard and mouse because they were new.. But that didn't last long
I"ve used an MS Natural Keyboard and MS Optical Trackball for years.
Fortunately, they work just fine with my iMac, and the USB connection.

Wait... Future Hardware??? Why?
You should have looked closer at the first post?

Ah, my bad, its just that the poll itself and most of the comments were based on current/older mice.
