Well, with Tiger, the window was between Apple announcing a release date (on Tuesday April 12th 2005) and the release (on April 29th 2005). I'd guess the same applies here.

I think I'm just going to have to buy a MacBook Pro now anyway, as my old PC has just died I bet we'll see an announcement either this Tuesday or next...

Maybe people wouldn't bother so much about turning up to the actual event. Plus they can edit out all the parts where the Mac kernel panics during the demos.

I don't see there being much point really to watching it live. They can feed out a higher quality video later on and there are live text feeds with images, which do a good job.

I actually prefer the text feeds because you're getting some information

Do you have a particular reason to know the exact date?

No body knows that when new leopard will release. But after some googling i suggest that this will release on Christmas.

Guys, Leopard (10.5.x) has been out for over a year. Now please get back to Real Life(TM), will you?
