<strong>It doesn't do that in sosumi.. but I might have things set up differently to my mousovers. But yeah it's another lame "feature"</strong><hr></blockquote>
In Sosumi, do your background and disabled widgets look the same? This only occurs in Carbon apps (10.1.1). I think it's just more noticeable in Iridium because the background widgets have a hint of color whereas the disabled ones are greyscale.
Nice sig, btw, but exactly WTF does it mean? <img src="graemlins/bugeye.gif" border="0" alt="[Skeptical]" />

If you have ever been bite by radio active breasts.. you'd know.
I just modified it.. made it less bold looking. I am starting to like this version a lot. I made a movie. same url as last movie. It is a different file now.
I just think people should be able to see what the controls do before a mouseover... It doesn't really matter though, since everybody who uses your theme knows what the buttons do already. I wonder how much Apple paid for the theme that is getting its ass kicked by your free replacement.

It looks cleaner.. I'm starting to really enjoy it. More people are using Aqua than using my theme.. so I doubt Aqua is getting it's ass kicked.
Sinewave, do you have any remedy for the problem I mentioned above? Are the text colors in Extras really ignored by Cocoa apps altogether? If so, that means I'm going to have to scrap some parts of Iridium in favor of colors that black text will better show up on. That's something I really was hoping I wouldn't have to do.

<strong>Hey Synotic, what ever happened to your NeXT theme? Did you ever start or finish it?</strong><hr></blockquote>Well I did the widgets and that's it <img src="graemlins/hmmm.gif" border="0" alt="[Hmmm]" />
I'm not so sure Aqua is getting it's ass kicked by Sinewave's theme... I don't think either is better than the other, and popularity holds no water because millions of Aqua users have no idea you can 'theme' OS X at all. The only thing that Aqua has on Sinewave's creation is that it is original, whereas Platinum was not Sinewave's idea or anything. Both are very beautiful, one is just brighter and more visually stimulating, and not everyone wants that. I wonder which of the two took more effort to make, even though there's no way to know, really.

I am not sure what took more effort. While I am sure Aqua was probably in the making for a year or more... having to fit a GUI idea into Aqua's layout can be a problem. Something the people making Aqua didn't have to deal with.

I was just trying to pay a compliment to his work, but my compliment is apparently debatable. <img src="graemlins/hmmm.gif" border="0" alt="[Hmmm]" /> Never mind then.

In terms of quality, for Christ's sake.
