They offer SLI capable Mac Pro's now. Why should they change that?

Do they? I haven't seen any SLI capable GPUs on the Mac so far.

What do you mean? The Radeon in the last iBooks is programmable.

I mean that last time, the Radeon Mobility is better then Intel Extreme Graphics. So I wonder why now Apple decided to use a Intel graphic card instead of a Nvidia or ATi for their MacBook line which is the same price range as the iBook?

Likely because it was cheaper to take the integrated graphics that already came with the mainboard design, instead of adding a separate gpu circuitry. Might also be due to size and power constraints.

I believe you , but do you have some data to back up this assertion?

Cost, thermal constraints and the unknown to the common mortal terms of the Apple-Intel deal.

I agree with a few post above and I think that Apple have started to look into design a lot more then spec. This is why they have so many stores popping up. They are turning into a fashion label!!!!
