Yea, I'm not too disappointed, but I always love the graphite and ice combo and I'm just so retro now.
As for 800 G4's in the iMac, I think we can be very optimistic about the PowerMacs to come. It seems strange that Steve wouldn't have pre-announced it though, it's not like he hasn't done that before, but maybe the pipeline is still pretty full on PMacs and he doesn't want to give anyone a reason to wait.
I think its obvious that apple is waiting for Photoshop to run natively on OS X before they release new powermacs. How else will they show people how fast they are? They dont seem to know how.
with iMac using the G4, I'd think a G5 powerMac won't be too far away.
Does anyone remember the last time apple updated the PowerMac product line? Maybe start counting 8 months from then is a better way of predicting when we'll have a PowerMac Speed Bump.
New PowerMacs tomorrow? Shit I wish. I really need a new computer and I want a tower, not an iMac. If they release some bitching PowerMacs with a bitching new case VERY SOON I'll quickly forget how disappointed I was today.
