Mac OS X 10.1.3

in macOS edited January 2014
A little bird told me that it was released to all developers tonight.

Maybe someone can comb through it to find any indications of changes and possible upcoming hardware?

Um, I wouldn't know. Though I've been a life-long Mac user, I'm in the middle of moving, and have no access. My only link to the world is a POS Packard Bell (Cyrix 266MHz) with DSL.

But it's worth noting that anyone can sign up for free to be an 'Online Member' of ADC. I'm not sure if the free memberships give you access to all the seedings though.

You have to have a seeding key, which means you've signed an NDA, and you're not supposed to tell anyone that it's been released.

I have not signed a NDA or have anything else than my ADC log in. I mainly use it for dev tools access. If I am not an online member then what am I?

No you are an online member. That is the lowest order of life on the ADC I think. People

like us don't get beta releases of software.

Well seeing as Online membership is $0 I'm not sure how much of a stink we can put up... What are we gonna do demand our money back?

Over at the MacNN forums they also say 10.1.3 was released and that its build number is 5Q28.

How about this, Apple REMOVED the 10.1.3 build from the developer section sometime between last night and today.

Now what is that supposed to mean?

Clearly it means G5's with DDR AND GeForce4's, right?

That does not mean new G5's with DDR and GeForce4's. It can simply just mean more bugs that were squashed. Plus, there is another thread going on about the new iBooks having a different build number of 10.1.2 because they are new harware.

Could it be that the USB Que! will finally work under OS X?!

    Dare I hope?

The device support is welcome, and the networking and security support is good news, too.

Definitely not anything to pop champagne over, though. Unless you have a lot of QPS drives.

By the way, Apple does release a new build for new hardware; I think they released a new build of 10.0.4 when the new PowerMacs, at the time, came out at MWNY 01.
