Tell Samsung to lower their SSD prices. The SSD is a $1000 upgrade.

New clients to Apple that are looking for a TZ alternative, will love it.

That 10% will freaking love it.

The other 90% of the market will not compare it to the TZ and call it overpriced and under performing.

Mmmm...that 10% of the market is pretty important I think. I think we're going to see this laptop in a lot of places being carried by folks that haven't gone mac before. Even if they all end up running bootcamp...

This thing is a status symbol laptop you can actually live with.

    Sony TZ - $3,699.99 w/64GB SSD.

Sony aint a happy camper today. Neither is Toshiba or any other high end laptop maker.

Big let down outside of the Time Capsule. Now I'm going to return the Extreme I just picked up 2 weeks ago. Hopefully it doesn't have the same problems.

LOL - only one complaint about the video chip. I think this is a first.

(Wait until it dawns on them that the battery isn't removable)

    Come on guys,

I am a bit disappointed but the MWSF was not that bad.

    iPhone software update was cool

    AppleTV 2.0 is great.

Movie rentals very cool with all the major studios

MacBook Air, neat, but I do not need that, so I won't buy it.

    Time capsule is very cool

For me the disappointing thing was:

no iPhone 16gig, I don't understand why not.

I agree that overall the keynote was not earth shattering, but Apple has a pretty good line up of services and products now.

ACD's and new design MacBook Pro's might be coming as earlier as April at NAB. The worst case for ACDs at WWDC.

    Stay positive!

$3000 for the 1.8 version with 64gig HDD!!!! LOL!!!
  • Reply 76 of 212
    damn, just damn.

I think the movie rentals could be about a dollar cheaper across the board.

    HD's at $5.00? c'mon really?

Time Capsule sounds sweet though, It's definitely a must purchase with the Air. bringing the cost up for a new lacking laptop to $2k. That's not including the new Mac Pro i'll have to purchase with it (hehe)
