    Very true. And they have a nickname for these "pre-prepared biographies and obituaries" : they call them "cold cuts"... Hilarious, but true !

    Um, we're still on daylight saving time over here, so that would be EDT.

    Still nice to get to read your own obit. Perhaps if more people did they'd live their lives a bit better.

    This reminds me of a comedy skit.

    Week 1

    --> Steve Jobs is dead

    Week 2

    --> We regret to inform you that Steve Jobs isn't dead as we reported. He is indeed still alive though he is very sick.

    Week 3

    --> We would like to inform you that Steve Jobs hasn't died yet.

    Week 4

    --> He is still hanging on...

    Crickey. It's a bit morbid that they write these things in advance.

    Would Americans have adopted digital music and smartphones to the extent they have if not for Steve? No. He is one in a great lineage of American Entrepreneurs who push the country forward.

    If you want to be pedantic, every cell phone ever produced has been, at its root, a computer which happens to make phone calls. Some of them have also been able to do other things on top of that, to varying degrees.

    The iGrimReaper. Dresses in black, but also comes in white sometimes. The iGrimReaper has been known to complain that his scythe blade is not user-replaceable...

    Such a shame, the world has lost "the best inspiration leader".

    Jobs did it himself because of his fascination for the Beatles and the "Paul is Dead" rumors.

    Many times over the years, there have been mis-reported deaths of someone famous. Mark Twain was famous for saying, "reports of my death have been greatly exaggerated."

    No one is getting sued unless vicious intent or stock manipulation can be proven.
