Finally a clear day (wasn't in the forecast), but late in the afternoon the sky darkened suddenly and there was a slight pitter-patter of not rain, but volcanic ash. Our local reminder that Mother Nature is the ruler of the planet coughed a little this afternoon. Destroys the wipers on the car, itches like mad and leaves a fine grey over pretty much everything, but can be a sight to behold.
Frickin' hot and humid outside. Which is not the big problem, here in the city everybody's either in their car or at the office or shopping malls during the day. The problem is it is *too cold* inside, they blast the air conditioning really cold. So it's real hot outside, then freezing inside.
Went through single digits again and now were headed for rain on Saturday which means .... flooding! I think this has been one of the coldest winters I've been through.

I applied for a job in San Diego. They didn't call me in for an interview. I heard later they hired someone cheaper than me.
Cleared the drive way of snow today. At least it's not cold enough to induce nose bleeds.
Eh, the weather's nice, but the place is falling down around our ears.
Hot where you are, suni?
