Go to System Profiler in OS X to see what your speaker HW is so you can then go to the manufacturer's site to grab the correct driver.
Do a manual install of the drivers for Windows off the Boot Camp disc, sans the BT drivers.
PS: Why didn't you install the 64-bit version of Win7?
I sorta thought Boot Camp wasn't compatible with the 64-bit version. I will give it a try along with your other ideas. Thanks! For the most part, Windows 7 Beta seemed to work okay for me without the extras. The only thing I really needed was the sound.

[1] The ability to customise the install. Mac OS X lets you choose as many (or few) languages as you'd like, X11, BSD Subsystem etc.
[2] An estimate of how long left in minutes, not percent, which is basically useless. Incidently the Mac has offered this feature since at least 1999 when I first used a Mac.
[3] A detailed log to watch what is happening during the install. Again this was in the installer for OS X 10.0.
1) Windows doesn't use X11 or a BSD subsystem, so it makes no difference. OSX never gave me the option to not install iChat or Safari either, but it's not really burning up any disk space.
2) Installing Vista or Windows 7 takes like 20-30 minutes. It's not even worth complaining about.
3) Does anyone really want to go back to the dark days of OSX 10.0? Besides, 99% don't need a log of what is happened during install, they just want to hurry up and get into the OS, The only things that the Windows 7 install stopped for, was to enter the serial key (which can be skipped during that point), setting up a homegroup, and connecting to a wireless router, if it had the correct drivers. I was 50/50 on that regard, as it picked up my laptop's card, but not my netbook's.
If I did have an issue with drivers, I just used a Vista one, and there was no furher problem.
How is the temperature when in Win7 compared to Vista? On my 2.5 my machine runs at about 45C@4500rpmFan in OS X yet in Vista with same fan speed it seems to be running well over 60C.
Also is the trackpad usable in Win7 compared to Vista? On my machine gently placing two fingers on the pad irritatingly either sends the cursor flying off the screen or scrolling to the end of the page.

The only reason I have a Mac is my poor eyesight and the options available through Mac OS X. The visual side of Windows looks better on my iMac (1680 x 1050) and there are options for speech. In a year, when Windows 7 goes retail, I just might go back to the dark side. Apple is a very annoying company to put up with. Everything costs too much and there are always going to be things the Mac can't do. I am not pleased with Boot Camp, Virtual Box, Fusion, or Parallels. If Apple wants my business again, I suggest a new Mac Mini between now and the release of Windows 7.
