For its part, AT&T has lately been promising significant upgrades to its 3G and is believed to be preparing a major, comprehensive speed upgrade on Apple's behest for May 31st -- just over a week before WWDC and before a new generation of iPhone is likely to push 3G usage even higher.
I had to read the title a few times, and then read the sub title before I knew what was going on. It should read, "AT&T pins neutered SlingPlayer on iPhone's not being a phone." Conditionality is possesive.

You're right- that title belongs to your buddy, solipism.
You actually said something funny (and half-way sensible)!

That's it, Apple, make AT&T your bitch!
-55?
-53.
-But officer, isn't the speed limit 55?
-Yeah, it is.

I'm going to let you go with a warning this time.
Thank you for taking the time to e-mail AT&T regarding being unable to
use SlingPlayer on your iPhone device. I understand your frustration. My
name is Beki Chappell, and I am happy to help you with your inquiry.
The SlingPlayer is not available on the iPhone device. The iPhone is a
small PC with a phone included, and due to potential viruses, this
device has a strong software firewall. Applications offered to iPhone
subscribers are developed for and approved by Apple. AT&T provides voice
and data access in order for the applications to work, but we do not
have the ability to approve or deny the applications. We do appreciate
your feedback in regards to this, and I will forward this information to
the appropriate department.
I think this is pretty lame.
