it depends on many varibles . the most important is have far is her from the tower or fiber box .
i am in nyc staten island 200 feet from the fios box . the speed is blazingt fast .yet some one one mile away tied to the same box gets on high traffic times 1/2 my speed .
Wuh? No. Just can't believe the single mile matters so much. Yet video cached in LAX buffers differently from one cached in NYC and from another one cached in HKG. (YouTube doesn't use Akamai openly - Google's still in talks with those guys - but it does use Google Cache, everyone, who happened to open Activity Window of Safari only once, knows that)

some sites are cached using akamai and similar technologies and there are multiple copies around the internet. youtube is not.
These are the same sites that I'm checking every day though. Why would they be fine some days &
