It's a simple byproduct that comes up depending on how your terminal shell is set up. In this case, it thinks you are entering the command "bill" with args "gates" but it can't find a command called "bill" so it offers the closest match which just happened to be "kill". Of course, "gates" is not a valid argument; so, it mentions "jobs". (see below)

If you setup the examples for tcsh again in 10.2, you'll get thie following when you try that "trick" again:

    [code]bwsmith% bill gates

    OK? kill gates? yes

kill: Arguments should be jobs or process id's.</pre><hr></blockquote>

Well it doesn't do it anymore in 10.2.3. Oh well it was cool. and when you typed in "what is my skill in chess" It used to respond with "unmatched"

That's a neat one, but it only seems to work in the finder. :/ Too bad.

My car is broke and it's going to be expensive to fix it, and I don't have a job anymore.

    Why do you say that?

Because I need new brakes and a new muffler and my catylitic converter is all sorts of messed up.

Is it because you need new brakes and a new muffler and your catylitic converter is all sorts of messed up that you came to me?

No, I came to you because I read about it on AppleInsider.

Does it bother you that you read about it on appleinsider?

No, I'm really ok about that.

    Can you elaborate on that?

I'm glad that I read about it on AI because if I didn't I wouldn't be here, And I was hoping that you could perhaps tell me how to get my car fixed.

    anything else?

No, now quit being such a jerk.

You mentioned that you read about it on appleinsider?

Yeah, it was great. Now fix my car.

Is it because of your life that you are going through all this?

Well, if I was never born I guess that I wouldn't be alive, let alone owning a car, now would I? Stop being such an over-anylizing piece of crap and fix my damn car!

I would appreciate it if you would watch your tongue!

I would appreciate it if you fixed my car.

    I don't understand.

How the hell did you get to be a doctor?

Are you sure the hell did I get to be a doctor?

    Not anymore I don't.

Are you sure that you read about it on ai because if you didn't you would not be there and you were hoping that I could perhaps tell you how to get your car fixed?

Alright RainMan, I'll talk to you later.

How do you reconcile the people you hang around with?

    Bye.

My secretary will send you a bill.

    WHAT?

I think Cocoa apps either use option-click or option-command click on the toolbar widget to bring up the customizing sheet.

Well... I don't think Apple put it in OS X, it was part of emacs which is part of UNIX or something... I don't know much on the topic but yeah, whatever.

Yeah I really like it if I have to navigate through a bunch of folders but I know where I'm going. I can use the keyboard and just use command+option+o and not have any folders to clean up when I get there.

In Finder if you hit command J it opens the veiw preferences and you can set the window background color. In that window is the color wheel and you can pick the Color Palettes (the middle one) and in the color options is 'Developer' but none of them really work at all. Why is that?

Easier than that, is to just do the control-option-command-8 thing, then using the display icon in your menu bar, select millions of colors.

I leave it like this for a while if I'm typing something long... a little change is nice.

Actually option-any sound key on the keyboard opens the sound preference-panel.
