New backup
as seen off the update:
Backup 1.2.1 provides a quick, easy way to back up important information to your iDisk or to recordable CD or DVD discs. Backup 1.2.1 provides these improvements over Backup 1.0:
? \tDisc spanning lets you back up large files (such as your iPhoto library) that won't fit on a single recordable disc.
? \tScanning performance improvements mean selecting and backing up files take less time.
? \tCD and DVD modes are combined for streamlined use.
? \tAn updated iTunes QuickPick lets you back up your iTunes music files, not just the playlists, to CD or DVD discs.
? \tNew iCal and Stickies QuickPicks let you back up important dates and reminders.
? \tImproved log files help you keep track of your backups.
? \tSupport for different sizes of recordable discs (such as 700 MB) lets you pick a size to fit your backup.
? \tAn updated design with a metal look to make Backup even easier to use.
sounds nice, i just want to see if it works better now. sorry if this thread exists elsewhere, i glanced around but didn't see it. but i'm also rushed today, so that doesn't mean much.

Haven't had the need to try 1.21 yet. Hopefully it fixed those issues.
A little off-topic, but as far as "free" .Mac software goes, is it too frickin' much to ask for a version of Virex that automatically checks for database updates?! Jesus it's annoying.

yeah that would be nice.... although they do remind you in the .Mac emails they send....
