What are some good ones out there? I use MetamorphX and I am happy changing from aqua everyonce in a while, but there isnt one out there that grabs me and pulls me in and makes me fell the way AQUA does when its smooth liquid.....

But, seriously is there one out there like Neutech?. Remember Neutech? that was a great theme....well go on, REPLY!

I use Godiva, but what I really want is one with no brushed metal and a graphite Apple logo, but the Aqua buttons. That I would use.

But I like Aqua too. I switch 'em around every once and a while.

I wish there were a key lime variation of Aqua in a 10.1 theme format. Stupid Apple, damn you to hell for changing the theme format!

I currently use a combination of Godiva and Pomegranite (though I wish I could get the red scrollbars from Pomegranite into Godiva somehow).

Sinewave does not like MMX (MetamorphX) as it can make mistakes switching back to Aqua, But you can use 'Theme Packer' (downloads allong with MMX) to make it into one, as I have done (don't distro the .theme you create though).

As I am currently part way through creating a theme (inspired by a silver XP theme, go on boo if you want) i wonder if anyone has started any refrance to the extras.rsrc? I.e. what exact wiget is 'Arrow Button Caps Inactive/Disabled'? All you have to go on is the shape of the 'Aquay blobs' in Sprocket.

Can I see a screenshot of Godiva, or any other themes y'all would like to share?

Is there a good brushed metal theme for 10.1? I'm a sucker for that damned brushed metal.

Actually I am testing out MMX again to see what the bugs are.

I think the silver XP theme rocks no booing here.

arrow button caps? What exactly are you looking for?

    Sinewave.

It's just a genral question. You open up the Extras.rsrc in Sprocket and there are 100's (possibly 1000's) of graphic files most with criptic names, and all the refrence to what each thing is, is Apples 'Aquay Blobs'.

What would be nice is somthing to tell you what each thing is in the final OS (it would be a masive undertaking though).

I'm using Godiva too. The coolest thing is that every Theme I've used in OS X is much faster than Aqua.

Godiva also removes the transparent menus, another speed boost.

Couple that theme with WindowShade X, and OS X is almost perfect. I just need scheduled wakeup and sleep to return to the Mac OS.

Yeah I know.. if you give me the name of the resource and ID # I can probably tell you what it is.

I better way to make the menu's speedier is to make the resource bigger. It takes up less time drawing. I like the transparent menus.. but I speeded them up by making them bigger.

I just need that so I can make my daily news getting AppleScript work like it should. There should also be a Wakeup Items thing.

But that has nothing to do with this thread. I'm off to suggest it to Apple.

Does anyone know of a good 'Theme Preview' app. other than the 'Appearance Sample' that comes on the 10.1 devtools disk. It try's to be cool, but it's just a big awkward mess & The preview it creates is to large to be any use. Sinewave, what did you use to create the previews of Sosumi theme that you used on the MacNN thread? As they where perfect.

That's good to hear. It was one of the few I have seen other than Sosumi that I would actually use.
