One freeze while coding in Project Builder and loading the 10.1.3 update. But I suspect the USB Overdrive beta3 to have caused the crash 'cause after rebooting my mouse was dead. I had to remove USBOverdrive (God bless the Terminal) to get my mouse back
PS: It sucks that you can't open menus without using your mouse.
The main problem I have is with the print center. For some reason when I print a document the print center reports an error and refuses to print. A re-start fixes what ever is wrong without me changing anything. This has to be an OS problem, but I think it is almost the only one.
No freeze, one application freeze (Spider-Man), once I messed up some resolution settings and had to restart...but never had an OS crash, kernel panic, nothin'
No problems for me since 10.0 (been lucky I guess) and as for file sharing between my Mac and PC I just set up FTP services in OS X and run a ftp server on my PC and just FTP to eachother if I ever need to share files. Much easier and free! <img src="graemlins/smokin.gif" border="0" alt="[Chilling]" />
The only times I have had problems is when I have messed stuff up in the terminal. Go figure. Man, I am so glad I have been "converted" from Windoze. Thank God for Macintosh.
Never had ONE crash since I bought 10.1 when it came out. I never bothered with 10.0, a little to beta-ish for me. Mac OS X, in my opinion is the perfect operating system. (With minor room for improvement of course)
i haven't restarted since the day OSX was released. no app freezes(and i run omniweb 4.1sneakypeak), no kernel panics, no nothing. in fact the last time i saw OS9's face was when my friend tryied medling around in System Prefs. my software is stuff like omniweb, mail, iphoto, imovie, itunes, MSN messenger, appleworks, virtual pc, and more of that stuff. i have a G4 cube
Very very stable for me. Early on I had a few kernel panics, not long after that I had a system freeze requiring power-off. In the last few months, no problems.

A couple times after having it running for a couple days, small things happen, like I can't change the desktop background... nothing really major though, but I have had to restart a few times in the last couple weeks. No problems with my major apps.
NOTHING like OS9 was for me - had a crash at least every day.
I've had a kernel panic when attempting to delete a specific file. Only happens with the file too. I was able to boot into Mac OS 9 and delete it. Even ran Norton beforehand and Norton found nothing wrong.
The other problem I had was when I was running iTunes and some other apps, I've had suddenly the entire screen go to the default blue background color... it's as if everything shut down and I was logged out, and then logged back in. It doesn't require a restart, but it comes with no warning whatsoever....
The only way I can consistently make it crash is by fooling around with I/O stuff...specifically .kexts. Try unplugging an iPod enabled as a FireWire disk and plugging it back in. That makes me kernel panic sometimes.
Try using the kmodunload to unload the USB mouse driver while a mouse is still plugged in...
Also sometimes crashed apps go into some crazy memory paging loop. Mozilla and OmniWeb have done this once or twice.

Damn, all you are making me jealous. I received my 800 DP the other week and I've had kernel panics almost every other day in 10.1.2/3 and mouse freezes in 9 a few times a week.
I don't know what the hell is wrong. I've reinstalled many times but to no avail. The Apple Hardware checker disk noted no problems.
Maybe it's because I have a dual? I got it from Smalldog and they added 2 512k ram PC133 CL3 chips.
I have never had a OS crash in *OS9*, so im still on it. Infact i very rarely get a problem with any of my apps either. The only ones that cause me grief are AOL v5 and Canvas7/8.
Once, I had Quicktime crash, and a wierd thing happened, I had another Applemenu appear, after the quicktime menus, and instead of Quicktime, the word SIOUX came up, with a duplicate of the Quicktime menus, I had to quit "SIOUX" and then quit Quicktime, but it was wierd having 2 sets of application menus. Anyone know what SIOUX is?

I found Classic to be infinitely more stable when I turned its extension set to the base install. Loads much faster too
BTW, Infinite Void, you can poke around the Universal Access Control Pane to make it possible to navigate menus with only a keyboard.

Actually I'd rather enjoy a kernel panic that only required a restart-I'd feel like a true 'nixer!
