I love a bunch of stuff about Apple too (actually it outnumbers what I hate about them by a lot) but the fact remains, nobody's perfect.

    Bingo- same here.

But Quadra 610 and GTL215 don't want to hear it..

It doesn't. Can't you comprehend my first post- it's called a question!!! Are you that illiterate.

Well you are if you think I stated what he just wrote. I simply asked a question. Maybe you should go by profile macslowlane if you don't get that.

Brilliant move on Apple's part. Construction and remodel costs are at an all time low and execution can be accomplished fast. Great way to increase focus and capacity on one of their best features and strengths . . . customer service. They will be in a better position when the markets revive . . . even if it is two years down the road.

The announcement seems to indicate that you will only get free training if you purchased your Mac in an Apple store or from the Apple website. If I'm correct, I don't think that's fair. As long as you purchase your Mac from an authorized dealer, it seems to me you should be entitled to training and service (not that I've ever actually taken any one-to-one training at an Apple store.)

Nightmare nightmare nightmare!! Apple is going to lose employees over this. The smaller, older stores are not set up to handle this kind of load. It is just not possible and it creates way too much stress on creatives. I hope they are giving creatives raises, because if not... they'll be losing them. Ron Johnson is becoming a cancer on this company. He just doesn't understand that his employees are not machines. He expects them to bow to him and Steve and just do whatever the Apple Gods tell them to do. I know many creatives/trainers have recently been dancing with the idea of leaving and well Ron, you just lost some employees in the midwest. Jackass...

This is brilliant, my Apple store service has always been 100% brilliant. I didn't know how Apple could make it even better than what it currently is, i do hope they open more stores in England, even though i do live 15 min away from the Meadowhall Apple retail store lol. I always purchase my macs from Apple, never elsewhere this is great.

I wonder what look they are going for in the stores, to me i think apple are over white now sadly. Maybe they'll go for aluminum walls and a black glass floor like the MacBooks bezel and iMacs
