The AI Name that Tune Thread!
Here's how it works:
1. Hunt through your vast MP3 collection and find a suitable track.
2. Open the track in
<a href="http://www.apple.com/quicktime" target="_blank">QuickTime</a> and select a five-second segment.
3. Save the five-second clip in a suitable format (.mov, .mp3, etc.) and upload it to your <a href="http://www.apple.com/itools" target="_blank">iDisk</a> or alternative web space.
4. Post a link here and see who can Name that Tune first!!
5. Smack Jamie around the head until he stops using that really annoying game show voice.
Ok so here's the first (and hopefully not last) track:

Does generic Euro-Trash cut it?
If I had a way to clip out a 10 second clip, I'd stump you all.
<a href="http://homepage.mac.com/starfleet/.Music/song1-1.mov" target="_blank">Song 1, clip 1</a>
<a href="http://homepage.mac.com/starfleet/.Music/song1-2.mov" target="_blank">Song 1, clip 2</a>
If you can ID these, you are a certifiable loon like myself.
<a href="http://homepage.mac.com/starfleet/.Music/song2.mov" target="_blank">Song 2</a>

<a href="http://homepage.mac.com/starfleet/.Music/song4.mov" target="_blank">Song 4</a>
<strong>Here are my entries. They are *so* obscure, I've given you 10 second clips, and from the first song I'll give you two clips.

They all sound like they're from the same group, band or whatever. Given that it does seem to be metal cheese, I should know, but I don't. Do you hav QT Pro, or how is everyone extracting here?
