Easy... Just swipe, then tap... SBSettings on jailbroken iPhone. Try it sometime.

You forgot to lanuch the settings.app first. And also to swipe to the corrsponding home screen. There are a total of nine of them. If you are on the 9th and your settings app is on the first, you have to swipe eight times first.

In short, it takes 4 to 12 steps to toggle 3G and we have all the hype about simplicity of iPhone. On Android, all the toggles are just one touch away. Yeah! It is complicated!

IFans really need to come out of denial.

Yeah that settings icon is hard to find. The amount of "steps" it takes is about equal to any control panel. Takes me less than a second. I thought fandroids loved complexity. Now I gave no idea what a android phone would take to turn off 3G, but it's probably more necessary to turn it off to bump up the battery life from 2-3 hours. Although you would probably have to turn off networking to get the 3 hours.

Are all the "toggles" just "one step away" on an android.? Lol. That means a huge undifferentiated list. Harder to navigate.

    Another UI fail.

What many of you don't understand is that resellers (radioshack, best buy) get higher commission and profits when selling non apple products. Pretty sure it's the same in corporate stores too, you ever see anyone at a verizon store push an iPad or a iPhone, they'd rather sell you a galaxy tab and go on about how it's better.

If that is the case then Apple need to match the commission.

The chart I saw on CNN Money showed Android took off in Februrary while Apple stayed pretty close to the same market share as before.

There are conflicting rumours (nothing official from anybody in a position to make an official statement) that the next iPhone will either be:

    - Delayed until Apple's FY2012 (which would put it some time after September 25, 2011, but that doesn't necessarily mean it's delayed until calendar year 2012, because Apple's fiscal year does not line up with the calendar year), or

    - Released in June 2011 -- not at the WWDC according to rumour, but later in the month.

We don't know which (if either) of these rumours are true, but both of them allow for the next generation of iPhone to be released within the 2011 calendar year.
