Infonugget for Tiga Tiga Woods Y'all:

Maurice Clarett wanted to be a Texas Longhorn but couldn't get over his fear of flying to visit Austin.

How absolutely sick would our backfield be with Cedric Benson, Selvin Young and Maurice Clarett?

You'd better kiss the feet of the God of Aviaphobia.

Nah, Clarett was an absolute stud at Warren Harding. Ohio State is where he belongs Buckeyes have a lot of depth in the backfield as well with Doss.

Yeah, I realize he's a local boy, that's kind of the point of him sticking around and not flying around somewhere else.

Also, those were his words to Dan Patrick (on his radio show) about wanting to be a Longhorn but being too scared to fly. Also mentioned <a href="http://espn.go.com/magazine/genobmoc_021006.html"; target="_blank">here</a>, Scroll down to 6. Dog Days.

He's a great back, you guys are very very lucky. I don't see it as a huge loss for us since we've got more backfield talent than we know what to do with already.

I gave up on Cal football after 4 years of big game failure while I was there. They were good in 1998, but sucked ever since. So they're good now...big whoop...Cal is in my rear mirror.
