Football - Between drugs, scandals, and Jerry Jones dumbass always having his nose in the head coaches business, Dallas isnt worth the effort anymore.
Baseball - Greedy bastards, stopped watching when they went on strike awhile back.
Basketball - Overpaid buncha idiots. I am not denying they probably work hard at their craft, but they are severely overpaid for what they do. Dont watch it
College Football - Longhorns, play for the love of the game.
College Basketball - Just dont like basketball. I think golf more entertaining .
Hockey - Dallas Stars! Seems hockey is the only sport that the players don't become assholes when they are doing well. Also seems they are the only ones who play cause they love the game. Hockey is my #1 American Sport to watch.
Dude, all athletes are overpaid, so your logic is flawed there buddy. And what about the Buy.com Tour for golf? You gotta be good to make at least 6 figures on there.

My point, which it appears you missed entirely, was that of all the sports, hockey seems to be the one the players play for the love of the game.
Baseball players make the 2nd highest salaries, and whine the loudest. Granted they have alot of games, but their sport is the least excercise intensive.
Football players have maybe the 2nd most physical job out of the four, followed closely by basketball. They are always in trouble for some idiotic thing they are doing. I used to be a die hard Cowboys fan, but now have lost interest.
Basketball, has the highest salaries and they are in trouble too. Watch TV sometime, you'll see more trouble from football and basketball players than all the other sports combined.
Hockey. They have the most physical sport in the US, make the 2nd worse salary, and whine the least. They play for the love of the game, the money is just a pleasant bonus. You can tell the intensity of how much they love the game, in every game.
What's wrong with AFL!?!?!

Maybe you noticed that I put down my fav AFL teams. I was an exchange student in Melbourne once. Of course, that narrows it down to a decision to cheer for one of 9 teams.
Eagles Suck. Pies suck harder. (Heh, I'm much more fond of saying "Eagles Suck" when it comes to NFL)
Niiiice. Melbourne's one of the only places there I haven't been to. I wouldn't know if they sucked, how bout the Fremantle Dockers? Any team around Perth is cool with me. Notice I put down NBL too.
Comments

Who the f*ck cares about hockey, f*ckin white @$$ sport.

You're the one who put AFL in your list. . . .
Nonetheless:
NHL: Capitals, Avalanche, teams with fast players.
NFL: Skins
NCAA football: Umm, Princeton . Other than that, Maryland.
Baseball: Yankees, Expos.
NBA: Basketball is lame to begin with, NBA is beyond my threshold for tolerating pussies. But I'll cheer for the Wizards if comes down to it.
NCAA basketball: Princeton . Also Maryland.
MLS: DC United.
European Soccer: I choose the English Premier League as my favorite league. There are just too many teams to consider total.
AFL: Melbourne Demons, Whoever is playing the Magpies.
Any Kind of Auto racing, period: MAZDASPEED!!! If Mazdaspeed is not in the race, I tend to go with GM or Panoz-based teams.
Tennis: Safin, Sampras, formerly Ivanisevic. . .

Not only that... it sucks too.
