They had it after the original iMac came out. The Pro was the G3 tower, PowerBook G3 was Go and iMac was whoa.

actually EmAn, the cool thing was they had Pro. Go. Whoa. before the announcement

EVERY page at <a href="http://www.apple.com"; target="_blank">www.apple.com</a> just had a graphic saying Pro. Go. Whoa and a sentence about the date of the announcement.

    it was so cool

agreed except with the rumor sites one, it seems like apple is intent on being as direct and hinting as possible yet still leaving us relativly clueless....expect the unexpected would be more for day 7 or if they started earlier than earlier

the gelding I think it makes more sense to continue this thread for the time being.. I'm closing the other one and directing discussion here. If it gets way to long, we can start a part II, but for now it's fine.

    "Hint: It's not a PDA"

I'm really surprised they pulled that directly at the rumors sites ... clearly, they're very confident, but who knows?

    How about:

"4 Days to Macworld San Francisco.

    Resistance is Futile."

    then

"3 Days to Macworld San Francisco.

    Yes...we OWN you!"

    and

"2 Days to Macworld San Francisco.

Set up your E-Bay Account; you'll need it!"

    and finally

"1 Day to Macworld San Francisco.

Free 10mg samples of Vallium will be handed out. Please behave responsibly."
