And by the way, he doesn't seem upset at what happened. Here's his last tweet:

I would love to see Apple recreate the headphone business. I was fantasizing about this a few week ago. Incredible cans from Apple. $200 billion in the bank by the end of next year. Believe that!!! Money all day bi****!!!!
I hope Apple announces cool products but I doubt they will.
I think Apple is going to announce new Mac OS and new iOS.
Those sound cool to me.
I don't think there will be any cool hardware, and probably that's appropriate at a developer conference.
By "cool HW" do you think there will be some non-cool (not necessarily uncool) HW updated?
The odds that there will be cool HW demoed, announced, and/or released/updated on Monday based on what we've seen over the last 11 WWDC keynotes is good. I only came up empty on 2 of 11 of them, but if you also don't want to count the Intel transitions then we're at 3 of 11 years. That's a 72% chance there will be something, based on these results along.
2013: Mac Pro, Time Capsule, & Airport Extreme
2012: 15" Retina MacBook Pro, & 11" and 13" MacBook Air
2011: null
2010: iPhone 4
2009: 13" MacBook Pro. 15" and 17" MacBook Pro, & iPhone 3GS
2008: iPhone 3G
2007: iPhone, & success of the Intel transition
2006: Mac Pro, & Xserve
2005: Intel transition
2004: null
2003: G5 PowerMac & external FW iSight camera
DEMOED | RELEASED | ANNOUNCED Note: Most of the color coding was by memory so take that as only a loose guideline. The odds are great that I made at least one mistake.
At what point in Beats' timeline did Reznor leave? Google is not my friend with this.
"Did he jump or was he pushed?" Was it greased by Iovine and Dr Dre and not Reznor knowing about a coming deal? Or did the Apple deal always solely involve Iovine and Dre of the top brass as per both parties, leaving Reznor to fly while his market value was still high?
Whatever the **** happens at WWDC, I predict millions of troll posts, shrieks of outrage and disappointments, accusations of betrayal, statements of indignation and threats to abandon Apple, "Tim needs to go" posts, "Steve would have never approved of this" bullshit, sensational proclamations of doom based on the OSX redesign, "most disappointing WWDC ever" posts, "where the **** is Apple TV + iWatch + iPhone 6" posts, "lol Apple copied shittily implemented feature X from product Y" posts, "Apple sucks because they didnt reveal some product I'm fantasizing about but most people wouldnt give a shit about" posts, and more such horse-shit. Those are the ONLY guaranteed things at this point in time. Everything else is speculation and bullshit.
Imma not gonna wait for Apple to announce anything on Monday. Imma gonna set fire to all my Apple products this weekend and then throw myself on top the pyre. THAT will surely get Tim's attention and move Apple to fix a couple of long-existing bugs that I think exist. Without my tireless voice urging along mindless sheep-to-be to buy Apple products, the company is doomed, doomed I tell you!!
The ultimate embarrassment was a couple days ago when Steve Ballmer paid a measly two billion dollars and bought the Clippers, out-bidding Steve Jobs widow...Steve Jobs would never have allowed THAT... and what did Apple do?? They paid THREE billion dollars and got earphones. Hello, anybody notice something wrong here?
I guess Reznor was also upset at Dre going to Apple.
Not a surprise. Reznor has an affinity for the independent to small label. Reznor working directly for the well established, monolithic Apple is not something I can see him ever wanting to do.
25 inch, can't be a $1300 and a new 30 inch for $1500-1800
Anything less than 27" doesn't really make sense at 4K. Sure, movies would look great but for a computer monitor everything would be really small unless you scaled up. Roughly calculating, a 21" 4K would be 230 ppi which would definitely be considered retina at a normal working distance but really expensive for an entry level monitor. The smaller the monitor, the higher the ppi to maintain 4K resolution. That could make a smaller 4K monitor actually more expensive than a larger one.
There aren't many rumors this time around. Usually that happens when they've been working mostly on software things, since the software is done in house while the hardware supply chain tends to leak. The 64-bit iOS took everyone by surprise. They could have another major software architectural change coming and we would know nothing about it, e.g. ARM OS X.

iOS 8 will be rechristened "iOS VIII" to visually harmonize with OS X. ????
They'll wait until 10 then call it iOS X in 2016. Perhaps that's when they will have one common OS with different resolution independent GUI's for devices.
Still believe radical new hardware will be announced. Developers would need time to work on an SDK, so it would not come out until fall but will be previewed Monday. Ridicule me when I'm wrong, but I'm feeling good about this based on some decent info I got from a friend who designs hardware for Apple.
Apple should have announced this deal after WWDC. What do these 2 clowns have to do with software? Those Beats headphones are pure drek.
It doesn't have anything to do with WWDC. All of the tops at Apple are old. Forestall was the only one who could connect, even partially because he was a billionaire, with normal people. They need someone who thinks like the average person.
Jobs was different because he always had that "wow that's awesome" factor.
I wonder if they would consider reimplementing CoreGraphics to use Mantle instead of OpenGL. It's supposed to be a lot more modern and efficient.
I'm waiting for anything mainstream to implement any of these tech's. It's unfortunately being withheld (sorry, not used) from major developers. ..and I don't consider that horrible fist person tap game a real developer. Just me and my bad opinion though.
There are far too little developers using OpenGL than there should be. If the writing is on the wall, and a OpenGL is better, which it Is far superior, why are they not developing titles to take advantage of this.
Honestly, because every Mac besides the new MacPro is made to be hobbled by graphic performance.

They may have a Healthbook app, or a Game Center type program for health stuff, but that will be it.
I don't think there will be any cool hardware, and probably that's appropriate at a developer conference.
I expect AAPL to dip significantly after WWDC 2014, but then it will come back later in the year when new Apple products get announced.
Just my personal prediction -- I hope i'm wrong!

Btw, Trent Reznor has left Beats and some other employees have gone to Spotify.

We'll also likely see a few folks grumpily predicting an onslaught of Apple troll posts. Oh, wait, never mind.

Ultimately, I'm waiting for iOS version 10.10
Signed the Decimal System

Start a new debate? I'm in the mood.

Heck, they could have hired me for 1/4 the price.
