Dunno about all of you, but there has been so little talk about Tokyo and possible rumors that I almost forgot that its tomorrow. First time thats ever happened to me. What do you think? Is this just going to be a rehash of MWSF?
they will still tape it and eventually will post it... nothing big will happen anyway (woudnt it be nice to be wrong?)

Well you never know... 10GB iPods are a possibility.

Actually, I read somewhere that someone saw the 10GB and 20GB drives at CEBIT and said they were simply multiple platter versions of the 5GB drive which made them much thicker and, therefore, probably unsuitable for iPod use.
the 10GB is definitely the same thickness as the 5GB. originally the 20GB was listed as a few mm thicker but has since been revised and is now listed as the same thickness of the 5GB.
I'm not saying I have inside sources or anything, but the numbers 1, 0 and 2 should have some significance to you people. I think we'll see it in a finished or near-finished form, and shipping a lot sooner than most of us think. For this reason, I am interested.
I was also wondering about the time difference, since Tokyo is about 15 hours (I forget exactly) ahead of Chicago...the updates will start flowing tonight hopefully and not tomorrow morning (our time).

Confirmed! The PowerMacs are being boosted to 1.02GHz! W00t!

Thank you for clarifying this once and for all. What do you think the chances are we will get these in an iPod tonight?
I wish we would see a camera too, but I am not holding my breath...if I did I wouldn't live to see if it came out!

And Amorph, if I could give you a prize for that response, I would.

'course i'm sure they'll charge more, but we'll see.
the 5 gig model for $250 - $299, and the 10 GB for $399 sounds about right.
