I thought it was sort of funny that the person doing this isn't bright enough to realize that, regardless of his attacks, the person being ridiculed still gets his reputation built up.
2) The 24-hour limit is artificial but I don't think it's because of Apple. It would be nice if they could get on a 48 hour rental time like other internet-based services.
It's not a 48 hour limit in the USA? It is in the UK, and I thought it was the same worldwide? Pretty sure when iTunes rentals were first introduced the keynote talked about a 30 day day rental window and a 48 hour period once you clicked play; did that change in the US at some point?
EDIT: Just checked the Macworld 2008 keynote; I remembered wrong. Still, funny that the UK, and apparently Europe get an extra day to watch the rentals. Licensing is weird.

Sony execs didn't seem to think highly of Agelina Jolie's personal character or conduct. Yet, her movie "Unbroken" seems to be a more positive & substantive product than their(Sony's) 'art' of a movie,"The Interview." Both have created controversy; Unbroken, offending some Japanese, The Interview, the North Koreans. The Japanese have handled it with class; N. Korea, not. Ironically, Jolie's end product seems to have character, about a person with character. Considering the content of both films, it will be interesting to see which one, or if both, will make it to iTunes.
On a side note, what would the discussion be if "The Interview" talked about similar targeting a minority leader or advocate in the states? Would there be censorship, boycotts, etc.?

Apple not putting this movie on iTunes has nothing to do with someone there not liking it. Does iTunes only carry movies that this particular person likes? Do you like every single movie that is on iTunes? Find a better reason.

Apple, as an ethical company, has made the correct decision not to screen this, the same as it chooses not to sell porn in it store. I realise the threat of a terrorist attack on the US is small, but if such an attack did happen would Google et al hold their hands up and admit they were wrong in showing this film. Secondly, I can see that a new wave of malware is about to hit android.
