A certain poster is attempting to circumvent and break the rules of this forum by trying to be clever and by leaving hidden attack messages with their thumb ups.
Hopefully the mods are aware of this new technique utilized by certain trolls. There are numerous occurrences in this thread, a good example of one is in post #141, which is right above this post. There are also others in this thread, left by the same troll.

I thought it was sort of funny that the person doing this isn't bright enough to realize that, regardless of his attacks, the person being ridiculed still gets his reputation built up.
2) The 24-hour limit is artificial but I don't think it's because of Apple. It would be nice if they could get on a 48 hour rental time like other internet-based services.
It's not a 48 hour limit in the USA? It is in the UK, and I thought it was the same worldwide? Pretty sure when iTunes rentals were first introduced the keynote talked about a 30 day day rental window and a 48 hour period once you clicked play; did that change in the US at some point?
EDIT: Just checked the Macworld 2008 keynote; I remembered wrong. Still, funny that the UK, and apparently Europe get an extra day to watch the rentals. Licensing is weird.

Sony execs didn't seem to think highly of Agelina Jolie's personal character or conduct. Yet, her movie "Unbroken" seems to be a more positive & substantive product than their(Sony's) 'art' of a movie,"The Interview." Both have created controversy; Unbroken, offending some Japanese, The Interview, the North Koreans. The Japanese have handled it with class; N. Korea, not. Ironically, Jolie's end product seems to have character, about a person with character. Considering the content of both films, it will be interesting to see which one, or if both, will make it to iTunes.
On a side note, what would the discussion be if "The Interview" talked about similar targeting a minority leader or advocate in the states? Would there be censorship, boycotts, etc.?
All right, well, if you had a rebuttal you would have posted it.
Hahahaha... if Soli, Anan or even Jungmark had asked me for a rebuttal I would have given it to them. At least I would have been given a reasoned response. With you, the chances of a reasoned response are so low that it's not even worth it.

So… you have no rebuttal, then.
Well, when you figure out something that goes between “abandoning fundamental tenants of the country” and “actively subverting fundamental tenants of the country”, you let us know.
You can be jailed for months for saying things the government doesn't like.

That all sounds pretty small fry compared to executing the mentally ill or having the highest incarceration rate out of any industrialized nation. At least British defendants get a trial. That's more than can be said for all of those US citizens killed by their own police force.
Why do I need to make any qualification? Obviously, everyone has their own opinions. Sorry you're so butthurt to hear some that hurt your feelings haha.
Here's my opinion about your trash talk, GO **** YOURSELF JACKASS.
Someone at Apple saw the trailer and saw how bad it is.
Well, not sure how it can be funny with Kim Jong-Un joking around and whatever. Seems like it's up there in the reality realm of "The Dictator."
To each his own. Seems like it has good ratings on IMDB.

Apple not putting this movie on iTunes has nothing to do with someone there not liking it. Does iTunes only carry movies that this particular person likes? Do you like every single movie that is on iTunes? Find a better reason.
True, but it's an understandable business decision on their part.
Apple should put on their big boy pants and sign the deal. " src="http://forums-files.appleinsider.com/images/smilies//lol.gif" />
This would have been a perfect opportunity for all the people praising Apple's superior security while trashing Google and Microsoft. How great would it be for them to see Google and Microsoft services taken down while Apple stays running?
Apple, as an ethical company, has made the correct decision not to screen this, the same as it chooses not to sell porn in it store. I realise the threat of a terrorist attack on the US is small, but if such an attack did happen would Google et al hold their hands up and admit they were wrong in showing this film. Secondly, I can see that a new wave of malware is about to hit android.
Congratulations on cutting off my sentence just before the crucial word!
Why bother replying if this is the best you can do? It’s not even acceptable.
I'm glad that you're happy to gloss over the fact that mentally ill people are executed in your country but someone writing a lazy reply on the Internet is unacceptable.
I’ll say this as many times as it takes your pathetic little mind to comprehend it.
READ POSTS BEFORE REPLYING TO THEM.
You didn't have the word treason in your post? You didn't equate what Sony is doing with crimes on the level of treason? Yes you did; I read fine, you understand poorly.
Regarding everything else, there's some truth in there, but the broader issues are hardly unique or specific to this one country, and what the flying **** does it have to do with this thread, Sony, film distribution, or even your original claim about lists of banned films?
Your risible arms-length hatred of the UK is ridiculous, as are your hysterical overreactions to any kind of legal issue that comes up on these boards.

The US certainly doesn't need another hothead in there who only sees the world in black and white.
1. There was nothing black and white there.
2. There was also nothing incorrect there.
lol, Britain.

Trying to say anything to you is not really worth my time. I have never ever seen you say that you were incorrect about anything.
