And people want their stock prices to go up, but are upset when they are low when they are likely cheaper to buy.

It's basically called sitting on the horns of a dilemma.  Even as a long-term Apple shareholder, it's still very annoying to read the BS tossed about because I think this is deliberately being done and I consider it dishonest.  I know that each time some A-hole tries to devalue Apple, the buyback program kicks in which is favorable for Apple and shareholders.  Do you ever hear any BS about Amazon's AWS or Microsoft's Azure cloud services?  No analysts are going around trying to find fault with those services day after day like they do with AppleWatch.  Those cloud services can't be perfect in every way.

I'm only asking for a little fairness in not constantly attacking certain companies products but not others.  In the long-term I'm certain Apple stock will rise but it appears that Apple's odd share price movement is caused by active manipulation of various sorts and that could be seen as dishonest and it doesn't sit easy with me that such things are allowed to take place.

So I'm not actually worried about what is said about Apple on a day to day basis, but these people seem to go out of their way to rag on Apple and there should be no call for that.  These analysts aren't really protecting average investors, they're mostly confusing retail investors with their made-up nonsense.  Tim Cook has said flat-out that these people know nothing about Apple's internal supply chain costs or breakdowns.  These lying analysts should refrain but they don't.

What are ya gonna do? The WSJ is full of click baiting a-holes, then every web site and their grandma is eager to shovel dirt on Apple's grave. No matter the level of deception or story fabrication.

Doesn't matter. Millions of people visit that website every day. All that will stick in their brain is Apple Watch and defect. According to Re/Code's "sources" the watches that have shipped to consumers are not defective. If that's the case all Apple has to do is release a statement to WSJ saying that. If they don't then my guess is some defective watches did ship before Apple caught it.

That's some ugly image you posted there. I hope you don't look at it every day. That guy is a crime against nature.

It would be fantastic if Apple's legal department threatened to sue every lying web site with those headlines.

Well John Gruber's first review watch had a defective taptic engine and one of his readers did too (Apple replaced their watch). But WSJ updated their story with the paragraph below so it must be a small number of faulty ones that did ship.
Apple doesn’t plan a recall, because there’s no indication that Apple shipped any watches with the defective part to customers.

Oh like that wouldn't get twisted to serve some Apple is evil narrative...

You have to go somewhere for the news that the so-called liberal media doesn't report. Such as all of the issues along the US border with Mexico and the other aspects of illegal immigration and amnesty, along with the Clinton foundation shenanigans. You can glean a lot of news by going to different news sites. Can't always trust the Gray Lady NYT - they are just as off the charts as Drudge.

Yes, you could see them suing web sites for reporting what is true?

That's why this shouldn't be on the front page of Drudge. But Apple's the enemy now that Tim Cook decided to take the company political. That op-ed in the Washington Post wasn't Tim Cook speaking as a private citizen it was Tim Cook speaking on behalf of Apple (curiously neither Phil Schiller nor Eddy Cue tweeted a link to that editorial). So any chance Drudge gets to try and embarrass Apple he'll take it.

When it comes to slamming Apple, there is no partisan divide.

Agreed. My point is that some people will wholly condemn a site based on its political views. Even the NYT, as we know, has taken digs at Apple. Like the Foxconn stuff. Apple is free game. When someone's at the top, American's love to bring them down, as we root for the underdogs on their way up.

Apple is under a microscope. We've seen IBM go down. Now MS is going through through it's fall from power. We've also seen Blockbuster Video and Toys R Us go down. We thought they were going to rule the world in their respective businesses.

Good news is bad news and anything to whack Apple, America's biggest target, is well, good for business.

Like Tim said, human rights ain't political. If Drudge takes offense, it's like you're doing something right.

Hilarious comparisons. The thing to remember is that Apple is on the right side of history, by intention, consciously.

Not everybody agrees that gay marriage is a "human right". You can not care about Drudge but millions of people visit his site and when they go there right now the first thing they see is Apple Watch defect. And it's not a slow news day. If Tim Cook was more a-political like Steve Jobs was (at least in the capacity of Apple CEO) the story would not be front and center on Drudge's site.

If this is true why is Apple Watch Edition 42mm shipping today.? Probably someone just trying to move the stock.

Really hope this doesn't affect rollout of orders too greatly.
