Some interesting reading after Apple introduced the new ads praising Mac.

Seems others have spotted that the Mac line up hasn't been updated for over a year now.

Agreed. Some here want to paint this as if it's just a few forum crazies with unwarranted concerns.
Yet, I run across articles like every few days (sometimes multiple, daily). Maybe we're all wrong... but we're far from alone.

So what. I will bet good money they update most of the line within a few months, in time for Mojave.

Again, the only question mark is the mini at this point.

Agreed. Apple isn't doomed. How can they be at close to $1Trillion. BUT, do their laptops suck right now? Yes imo. For the last three years infact.

For my line of work all computers are MBPs so I love Apple. But, even with all the steep steep discounts on their way way overpriced products I had no interest to buy. Can't wait for a fixed keyboard, more RAM and maybe ARM chips.

And McDonald gross margin? 48 percent. Yet seldom hear complaints about Big Mac prices. Yes, the flagship iPhone may pinch the purse but there’s loads of cheaper models. What’s the five year cost for the 5s? Almost like a Happy Meal, so to speak.
This is great.  McDonalds has 48 percent gross margin vs Apple's 38 percent.  McDonalds has 24 percent profit margin vs Apple's 22.  A Happy Meal costs $2.99 (2017 dollars) and includes a toy.  A 5S (mine anyway) amortized over 5 years thus can be paid for by foregoing 267 Happy Meals (and their toys, but don't forget you do get free apps with the iPhone).  🍸😹

Yeah the big question is what is going to happen to the iPad mini line? I currently have and enjoy my mini 2 but other than the mini 4 there currently isn’t much left for the small iPads.

Yeah, I also hope it gets an update for the sake of all my iPad mini loving friends and relatives. I just don't know what Apple is thinking on this one. If the rumors are true, apparently they aren't.
