The latest betas and configuration profiles can be downloaded from the Apple Developer Center, with subsequent changes available as over-the-air updates on enrolled devices.

The Release Candidate build arrives after the eighth beta for macOS Big Sur 11.3. The current beta period for macOS 11.3 has run long since the first build on February 2.

The build number for macOS 11.3 RC is 20E232.

Among the changes spotted so far in the betas are interface alterations for Apple News and Apple Music, with the latter adding live events to the Listen Now section of the app. The Reminders app also gains a new way to sort items.

Gamers wanting to play iOS and iPadOS titles on their Apple Silicon Mac will also gain a new option. Controller emulation will let users play using a keyboard and mouse instead of a controller.

AppleInsider, and Apple itself, strongly recommend users don't install the betas on to "mission-critical" or primary devices, as there is the remote possibility of data loss or other issues. Instead, testers should install betas onto secondary or non-essential devices, and to make sure there are sufficient backups of important data before updating.

Nope - I've used it since the beginning of Big Sure, and it's still working fine on a MacBook Pro 16", Intel Mac mini & M1 Mac mini.
