I had never used tabbed browsing b4. Hey, its cool.

It took a minute to 'get it,' but once I did I'm hooked. I wish I could rearrange the tabs. I guess I could just reload the pages in the appropriate tabs, but I'd like to drag.

That's a great idea and one that falls into the drag and drop style of the mac. I suggest you post an email to Apple or directly to Stevie-boy himself. 8)

I suppose they just had to call public beta 2 "v.73" so all of us early-adopters of v.71 would have to download it again. Yeah.

So, how do you tab between tabs (i.e., is there a key combo to cycle through tabbed windows?)?\t\t

I feel another elitist argument getting ready to take shape as the interface experts tell everyone that tabs are for losers. Let the festivities begin.

How many duplicate threads will there be?

    I'm fixing the title of this thread. It's not v.9. It's 1.0 Beta 2 (v73).

Step 1: Drag old Safari app icon to the trash.

    Step 2: Empty trash.

Step 3: There's no step three. There's no step three! *maniacal laugh*

If you download it via software update, it will install itself over the old Safari, but you won't lose your old settings.

I wonder how long it will be before Apple enables "Check Spelling As You Type"......

Spell check works fine. You just have to re-enable it manually for each text field.

I know, that's the annoying part. It should be enabled by default.

Just type command-shift-left (or right) arrow.
