Ads appear everywhere

I'm curious if it's just my version of Safari which is having issues with AppleInsider's web page. The ads pop up across the content so that I have to scroll the page to read what is behind them. The ad remains fixed in place and the content scrolls. 

Does anyone else experience this?

    That looks like a misbehaving ad block. That's a Google AdSense portrait space, and the advertiser labeled their graphic wrong.

    I'll forward it to the developer.
