Seriously ungodly...Necrosis yuk....Fiddleback's ( Hobo spiders ) along with " White tailed spiders " are the most likely cuplrits....
The worst thing about them, is that as predators they roam around looking for dry areas to sit for food..garden gloves are a favourite...and they dont spin a web...
Had the " luck " of lying out a denim shirt on the bed : as I put my arm in the sleeve a huge Fiddleback spider dropped out of the sleeve and onto the bed...
I don't mind saying..my heart skipped a few beats over that little episode...\
