That's a pretty sweet background. I'm really picky with my desktop pictures (how well it works with the Dock, so Dock icons don't blend in with the picture; not too many colors/shapes, so my desktop icons don't get "lost" in the picture...the more monochromatic, the better; no identifying text/"this picture was made by..."; objects in the picture should be slightly out-of-focus, so as they don't stand out and distract my eyes from other elements on the screen; subtle textures; no artifacts from compression, especially with areas that are black; ). Yours passed my test.

Colors seem a bit too saturated when I manually resized the .png file in PhotoshopCS. Oh well. It's my girlfriend and I riding a NYC Subway to the SOHO Apple Store. "Good morning everyone. My name is Christina, and I am homeless."
