Apple Card Family expands availability to spouses, children over 13
ionicle said:Fantastic, not sure i would trust a 13yr old with a credit card though 🤔
Amex allows teens to have a card under their an adults account. It has its own number and you can set a limit on it if you want. I provided a card to my daughter when she was 13 with a low limit ($500). Much better than always sending her out with cash. I'd rather she lost the card than cash. Also, she had enough money in her savings account (money from birthdays, Christmas, etc) to pay back the $500 if she ever bought anything she was not authorized to buy. She's 18 now and we never had an issue.
Your mileage my vary though! -
YouTube TV hikes monthly subscription price to $65
I am paying less than $50 per month for DirecTV Entertainment package so paying $65 for You Tube TV is outrageous.I am getting a monthly credit on a 12 month contract. I call when it runs out every year. Give me a good deal or I will just cancel (one day they will let me cancel and I'll just switch to Spectrum or something else that is offering a promo deal). They always give me a good deal. I have heard from people I know that they've done this and some get a credit and some don't. It seems they are doing less credits now though so I have no clue what their measuring stick is on who gets a discount and who doesn't. As long as they keep giving me the credit, I will keep renewing. I don't pay for any premium channels, but I do get HBO (and HBO MAX) for free for being an AT&T Wireless customer. -
