  • Drivers love CarPlay as car infotainment systems get worse overall

If a car model doesn't have it, I won't even consider it.
Same here. I love CarPlay. Both of our cars have it (and one of them has wireless CarPlay). There is no way I'd buy a car without it.

  • Apple Card Family expands availability to spouses, children over 13

Fantastic, not sure i would trust a 13yr old with a credit card though 🤔
With limits; sure. Unlimited not so much.

Amex allows teens to have a card under their an adults account. It has its own number and you can set a limit on it if you want. I provided a card to my daughter when she was 13 with a low limit ($500). Much better than always sending her out with cash. I'd rather she lost the card than cash. Also, she had enough money in her savings account (money from birthdays, Christmas, etc) to pay back the $500 if she ever bought anything she was not authorized to buy. She's 18 now and we never had an issue.

Your mileage my vary though! ;)

  • YouTube TV hikes monthly subscription price to $65

I am paying less than $50 per month for DirecTV Entertainment package so paying $65 for You Tube TV is outrageous.

I am getting a monthly credit on a 12 month contract. I call when it runs out every year. Give me a good deal or I will just cancel (one day they will let me cancel and I'll just switch to Spectrum or something else that is offering a promo deal). They always give me a good deal. I have heard from people I know that they've done this and some get a credit and some don't. It seems they are doing less credits now though so I have no clue what their measuring stick is on who gets a discount and who doesn't. As long as they keep giving me the credit, I will keep renewing. I don't pay for any premium channels, but I do get HBO (and HBO MAX) for free for being an AT&T Wireless customer.

  • Wearable weigh-in -- Apple Watch Series 10 vs Apple Watch Series 9 compared

Hard to differentiate sometimes what is hardware and what is iOS software update features. Eg. the sleep apnea feature is an iOS update feature not a watch update which isn’t fully explained in the article. I certainly appreciate the new features to the series 10 from the series 9 my biggest disappointment would be to lose the blood oxygen level feature if I upgraded to the series 10.
If you look at the Apple website in France, you can see that the blood oxygen feature is still there on the Apple Watch 10. It appears that it is only disabled in the US. That would lead me to believe that Apple Watch 10 in the US still has it, yet it is disabled by software.

  • Apple pushes watchOS 11.1 update to public, primarily focusing on bug fixes

I sure hope this resolves the lousy battery life on my series 8.
Yeah, I've seen questionable battery life on my Apple Watch Ultra and my son's Apple Watch 10. Hoping the 11.1 update fixes it.

What's odd is that we don't have bad battery life all the time. Sometimes I get normally battery life and sometimes it rapidly decreases. This isn't due to any excessive use.
