  • TransUnion breached, consumers' financial information exposed

I haven't seen anything regarding this from Trans Union.  I keep my credit reports frozen after the Equipment fax breach so no one can open credit.  Its free and you can easily unlock your credit reports for a short period of time to allow a legit creditor to pull your report.

  • Apple changes App Store rules to allow tips via in-app purchases, block custom review prom...

Once again Apple shows they have NO CLUE when it comes to other countries customs and culture. Tipping in some countries like China as noted is a way of thanking someone, its not a payment for services rendered, etc. Its just a thank you. They want to take 30% for doing 0% of the work, if I were the developers who are losing out I would focus on Android which there are a ton of manufacturers in China offering high end low cost phones with better specs. I get it Apple is hosting the files, puts resources behind hosting the files like Apps, etc, but when it comes to general items that they have nothing to do with other than being accessed on an iOS device they should get $0.

  • Apple Watch Series 2 abandons gold Edition models in favor of ceramic

No shock here, the Gold watch was a joke, a way for those with stupid cash to burn to say I have one and you don't. Now I don't mind the ceramic white, the price is fine as well, but really you get the shit sport band for $1299 for the 42MM, what are they smoking. I will simply get the Black Stainless Steel model, white would have been cool, but not for an extra $500.
  • Apple's Siri & rivals being hampered by poor microphone tech

SIRI Sucks! No matter what situation I am in, it never works, can't find what I need or can't understand me. I use a BT headset, BT in the car, talk directly to the phone. Yet when I use Google Now on my iPhone it works without issue, finds directions, calls a contact, looks up a company and it doesn't require six attempts. Apple made a great move buying SIRI, then was as reckless as a teenager with their new BMW and totaled it. Why even bother buying the company if they stripped out most of the features and now we can't do squat with it. Say what you want about Android, at least Google allows you to change the Virtual Assistant to any other one if you want to on Android OS. Apple never will allow that.
  • Watchdog group finds Pegatron exploiting workers in lead up to 'iPhone 7' launch

Apple demands suppliers cut costs so they can maintain their high margins and profits, so in order for the razor thin margins the suppliers were making cut even more and in an effort to many any profits themselves they force impossible overtime demands and cut wages to insure their profits are maintained. Sure every company has a fiduciary responsibility to insure profits to their shareholders, no problem. BUT, when you profits are dropping due to slowing demand caused by longer upgrade windows that is YOUR PROBLEM, not your suppliers problem. Sounds like Apple has yet another winner on its hands, Greed, Abuse and Disregard for safe working conditions as they promised to do. SHOCKER, NOT!
